Managing Consultant - Business Development (Climate & Sustainability)

£80k-£90k / Remote based (some onsite for key meetings)

We are recruiting a senior and experienced Managing Consultant who is well versed in Business Development (BD) who can help grow out our clients consulting offering. You will play a key role in driving business growth while leading a high performing team. This senior role combines business development, leadership, and consultancy expertise to help clients tackle climate change and sustainability challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Develop Business - Identify new opportunities, lead client engagements, write winning bids, and expand our impact.
  • Lead & Inspire - Manage and mentor a talented team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Deliver Solutions - Oversee client projects, ensuring best-in-class consultancy in net zero strategies, environmental management, and sustainable technology.
  • Shape the Future - Influence strategy, represent i3NetZero at industry events, and drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven leadership in business development and consultancy.
  • Experience leading and winning bid procurement
  • Expertise in climate change, sustainability, or social value.
  • Experience in complex public sector, defence, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
