SR2 are looking for a Delivery Manager who can join a leading consulting client to run a decommissioning project.
The project is in a mature stage, and is looking to move 5 key integration points onto newly defined routes.
The Delivery Manager will be required to define and plan the Tech Debt outcomes and document with JIRA tickets, and identify risks. There will also need to be regular reports of progress via BIP Governance forums.
Key tasks:
- Oversee delivery process, coordinating across teams, managing stakeholders whilst setting realistic expectations
- Project planning and scheduling: Build delivery plan with POAP and detailed plan, timelines and milestones
- Maintain schedules with clear communication and align all team members with project goals and timelines
- Track project progress, monitoring and adjusting as needed, managing changes to the project scope

- Risk and issue management is key, working with PMO to ensure Risks are known and communicated. Identify strategies to mitigate but escalate fast and early
- Quality assurance - final deliverables meet quality standards through all test environments and meet security/policy needs
- Escalate issues early to relevant problem owners
