We’re working with an innovative UK technology business that’s transforming the way scientific organisations analyse complex imaging data. They’re entering an exciting phase of product development as they evolve a proven proof-of-concept into a scalable, enterprise-grade AI SaaS platform.
They’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract, taking ownership of key platform features across the full technology stack while helping shape the technical direction of a next-generation AI product.

You’ll play a key role in building a production-ready, cloud-native SaaS platform that combines modern web technologies with machine learning capabilities. Working closely with Product, Design and Engineering, you’ll take features from concept through to deployment, delivering scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.
This is a hands-on engineering role with plenty of autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys working in fast-moving product environments and taking ownership of technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and delivering scalable full-stack features across a modern AI SaaS platform
• Designing and developing secure backend services and REST APIs
• Creating intuitive, high-performance React applications
• Developing cloud-native solutions within AWS
• Designing and optimising relational databases
• Building infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Working closely with Product and Design to shape technical solutions
• Leading code reviews and promoting engineering best practices
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to technical decision making
• Collaborating within an Agile product team

Essential

• 5+ years’ commercial Full Stack Software Engineering experience
• Strong Python and Node.js development experience
• Expert knowledge of React and modern frontend development
• Experience building and scaling multi-tenant SaaS products
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, Lambda and core cloud services)
• Experience designing RESTful APIs
• PostgreSQL or MySQL database design and optimisation
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external platforms
• Comfortable working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence
