The Role

We are supporting an exciting consultancy who are on the lookout for an AI specialist to help shape and deliver next-generation AI capabilities within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a unique opportunity for a technically strong and research-driven person to lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of production-grade GenAI systems.

The successful candidate will work across cutting-edge AI initiatives including LLM development, RAG architectures, AI safety, model monitoring, and responsible AI frameworks. The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic technical leadership, offering significant influence over enterprise AI direction and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable Generative AI and LLM-based solutions
• Develop RAG architectures and advanced prompt engineering frameworks
• Lead Responsible AI initiatives including bias detection and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate AI research into business value
• Drive experimentation, model optimisation, and production readiness across AI platforms

Essential

• Strong commercial experience within Data Science, Machine Learning, or Generative AI roles
• Deep understanding of LLMs, transformer architectures, and modern NLP techniques
• Experience building and deploying RAG-based applications
• Expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and AI safety methodologies
• Strong Python development skills with experience using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or LangChain
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
