JOB DESCRIPTION

Fullstack Software Engineer – Tech for Good - Government - £50k

By working with local authorities, they have been able support 3 million people across the UK and found an additional £1 billion of support funding. This money goes to the most vulnerable people in the UK, whilst also saving the local authorities £ millions. They are able to do this by using data and technology find gaps in authorities current processes. It is overwhelming likely that this business has already impacted people around you in a positive way.

Additionally they have products to help safeguard some of the most vulnerable children and adults in the UK.

As a fullstack engineer in the team, whilst they will play to your strengths and put you on projects you are passionate about whenever possible they value someone who can do a bit of everything.

They will look for aptitude over experience but their core tech stack is:
  • Typescript/JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • React, transitioning FROM Angular
  • AWS
Additional experience in Python, Cypress, Mocha, Tableau would be beneficial but is not required.
About the role
  • Up to £50k but they are looking at multiple vacancies so if you fall outside of this feel free to apply
  • Genuine working flexibility they have a beautiful office in Westminster but are open to people from across the UK and will pay for your travel to London for quarterly. Most of the London team will do 2 days in the office.
