Job Title: User Researcher
Contract Type: Contract – 3 to 6 months initial (workstream dependent)
Day Rate: £450/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site in Stratford, London

Overview:
We are seeking a User Researcher to join a multidisciplinary digital delivery team, supporting the development of user-centred services within a regulated public sector environment. This hands-on role is focused on planning, executing, and analysing research to inform service and product design decisions that enhance user experience and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct user research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods
• Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights for multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate closely with service designers, developers, and product owners
• Champion user needs throughout the product lifecycle
• Present research outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support the improvement of research standards and practices within the team

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience delivering user research in agile digital teams
• Strong understanding of service design standards and accessibility (GDS or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making
• Background in public sector or regulated industry projects
• Comfortable working in hybrid teams across remote and onsite environments
