Are you an experienced Tech Lead with refined technical skills across API development and DevOps practices, alongside a flair and passion for leading highly skilled Engineers on innovative and market-leading projects?

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain new services built on modern web architecture standards, utilising APIs for seamless integration.
• Continuously build, test, and deploy applications using GitLab, ensuring robust version control and CI/CD processes.
• Manage deployments on Docker containers, leveraging serverless container platforms or Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud for scalability.
• Utilise Python, Django, React, and TypeScript to build efficient, scalable solutions.
• Embrace a DevOps culture, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams to streamline processes.

 
 
Requirements for Success:

• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers, driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes.
• Strong knowledge in Python (Django), JavaScript, DevOps practices, and architectures and cloud systems.
• Able to collaborate across product and service teams to build unified application architectures and support leadership on new initiatives.
• Can confidently communicate effectively with stakeholders and focus on continuous improvement, delivering high-quality services across a variety of technologies.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, database design, modelling, and optimisation (Desirable).
