Senior Data Architect

Our client is looking for a Senior Data Architect who wants to build something from the ground up not just maintain it.
You’ll will be joining as the first data hire for our Client to take ownership of a growing ecosystem and shape how data drives product, insight, and future AI initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and build a centralised data platform
• Consolidate data from multiple sources (internal systems, SaaS tools, APIs)
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines
• Define data models, schemas, and governance standards
• Enable data for analytics, reporting, and product teams
• Partner with engineering to improve data capture and architecture
• Lay the groundwork for AI and advanced analytics

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience in data architecture / data engineering (5+ years)
• Hands-on expertise with AWS data services
• Experience building modern data platforms
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills
• Experience integrating third-party APIs / SaaS data
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with real-time or near real-time data pipelines
• Exposure to AI / ML data foundations
• Background in high-volume or event-driven platforms
