Programme Manager – Wealth Platform Migration

SR2 Consulting is supporting a consultancy to deploy a senior Programme Manager to take ownership of a high-profile, high-volume wealth management platform migration. The programme is moving into its execution phase following a structured discovery and design effort, with a clear 18-month staged delivery plan now in place. This is a rare opportunity to step into an established, well-scoped programme at the point where execution becomes the priority.

The Programme

• Large-scale, staged migration of wealth management client data from one platform to another
• High volume, high profile – this is core to the client’s wealth proposition and visible at the most senior levels of the organisation
• 18-month delivery timeline with clearly defined stages and fixed milestones
• Programme is moving from design into execution – the foundations are set, the priority now is disciplined delivery

What We’re Looking For

This role demands genuine Asset and Wealth Management experience – not adjacent financial services, but practitioners who have lived inside AWM platform and data migration programmes and understand the operational, regulatory and client sensitivities that come with moving wealth data at scale.

• Proven track record leading large-scale data migration programmes within Asset and Wealth Management – platform transitions, custodian changes, or core system replacements
• Deep understanding of AWM data structures – client records, holdings, transactions, mandates and the regulatory considerations around moving this data between platforms
• Experience managing staged, milestone-driven delivery over extended timelines (12-24 months), with the discipline to keep a multi-phase programme on track
• Comfortable stepping into an established programme and relationship – able to build trust quickly with senior client stakeholders without the benefit of having been there from day one
• Senior Programme Manager or Programme Director level, with the gravitas to operate at the most senior levels of a high-profile client organisation
• Calm under scrutiny – this programme will be visible, and the right person manages that visibility as part of the job, not a distraction from it
• London based, with availability to be onsite as required by the programme
