OT Cyber Security Consultant – IEC 62443

Reading | 6-month contract | £560 per day | Hybrid
SR2 is partnering with an exciting client that has an immediate requirement for an OT Cyber Security Consultant following an unexpected gap in their project team.
You’ll support the client with OT/ICS cyber risk assessments, bringing strong practical knowledge of IEC 62443 alongside the confidence to work directly with customers and senior stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering OT/ICS cyber security risk assessments aligned to IEC 62443
• Assessing industrial environments, identifying cyber risks and recommending appropriate controls
• Working closely with client stakeholders to understand operational requirements and security challenges
• Translating technical OT cyber risks into clear, practical recommendations
• Supporting wider OT security and risk activities across the programme
• Building trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience conducting IEC 62443 cyber risk assessments
• Solid background within OT / ICS / industrial cyber security
• Strong understanding of OT cyber risk, controls and industrial environments
• Excellent client and customer-facing stakeholder management skills
• Ability to communicate complex security risks clearly and confidently
• SC clearance preferred
• Willingness and eligibility to progress through DV clearance if required

Contract

• Initial term: 6 months, with likely extension
• Rate: £560 a day
• IR35: TBC
• Location: Reading
• Onsite: Ideally 2-3 days per week, with flexibility for the right person
• Interview: One-stage process
• Start: ASAP
