Organisation Design Lead – Outside IR35 – Remote
We’re supporting an organisation undergoing a significant target operating model redesign and are looking for an experienced Organisation Design Lead to partner with senior leaders across the business. This role will play a key part in shaping future teams, capabilities and ways of working, ensuring the organisation is set up to deliver its strategy effectively.
The Role
As part of an organisation-wide transformation, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and people colleagues to lead organisation design reviews at team, function and capability level. You’ll bring evidence-informed best practice, support good job and work design, and help embed a people-centric approach to change.
Key Responsibilities
- You will own and apply best-practice organisation design principles, ensuring alignment to strategy and “good work” outcomes
- You will advise, consult and challenge senior leaders on organisation design decisions
- You will support the development and embedding of the organisation’s target operating model
- You will lead and contribute to projects assessing and developing organisational capabilities
- You will enable leaders to plan for and embed change within their teams
- You will contribute to wider organisation-wide initiatives across leadership, talent, culture and employee experience
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience leading organisation design activity
- Strong knowledge of OD best practice, approaches and tools
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience delivering organisation-wide initiatives on time and to budget
- Background across areas such as organisation design, leadership development, culture, team development, HR and/or change
Desirable skills:
- Experience working within charities or not for profit organisations
The Details
- Contract: 14 weeks
- Start date: 9 February
- Rate: Up to £600-650 per day (excl. VAT)
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Time commitment: 3 days per week
- Location: Mostly remote with limited travel to London
