Job Title: Inside IR35 Fully Remote Oracle APEX Developer

Role Overview:
As an Oracle APEX Developer within a major UK Consultancy, you will be responsible for leading and executing application design and development tasks for Oracle and related applications in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the design and development of front-end applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
– Develop and implement role-based custom security components in APEX.
– Create and manage REST APIs and implement OAuth2 security using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
– Architect, install, and integrate APEX applications with web servers.
– Utilize extensive expertise in Oracle databases, scripting, and security measures.
– Proficiently utilize HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, and JSON for application development.
– Manage multiple full life cycle software projects from inception to deployment and testing.
– Implement Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, in project development.

Essential Skills:
– Extensive proficiency in Oracle Databases, with recent projects on Oracle 19 and above.
– Strong skills in Oracle APEX, with recent projects on versions 20 and above.
– Demonstrated capability in creating RESTful APIs using Oracle ORDS and documenting APIs using Swagger.
– Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, BI Publisher, and Redhat
Linux 7.

**Qualifications and Experience:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
– SC Clearance is mandatory for this role.
– Demonstrated experience in Oracle APEX development and related technologies.
– Proven track record in designing and implementing secure applications.
– Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
