Lead Full Stack Engineer

SR2 is partnered with an ambitious, fast-growing technology company that’s transforming how businesses manage their operations and client interactions. With a global user base and strong presence in their industry, they’re entering an exciting new phase of product innovation and growth.

We’re helping them to look for a Lead Laravel Engineer to take charge of a brand-new development stream focused on greenfield projects and major new features. This is a rare opportunity to shape the role around you, build your own team, and influence our technical direction from day one.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Product to architect, build, and launch new features using Laravel, React, React Native and AWS, whilst helping define the engineering culture.

The role:

• Lead the design and delivery of new products and features for platforms.
• Define technical architecture and set the roadmap for your projects
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code (Laravel APIs React front end).
• Mentor developers, champion best practices, and drive engineering excellence.
• Collaborate across teams to turn ambitious ideas into real, user-loved products

Requirements:

• Experience as a Lead or Principal level software engineer
• Strong experience with PHP (Laravel), React, React Native and TypeScript.
• Solid database experience with MySQL and cloud knowledge (ideally AWS, but experience with any of the key cloud platforms is also fine)
• A proactive, product-focused mindset with a passion for building high-quality software.
• Experience with React Native for mobile app development
• Exposure to start-up or scale-up environments.
