Senior Data Engineer | Databricks | Terraform | 6 Months contract | Remote |

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a large-scale UK Government digital transformation programme. You’ll play a key role in building and optimising secure, scalable data platforms using AWS and Databricks, while guiding best practice across engineering, architecture, and governance.

This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who loves solving complex data challenges and working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.

What you’ll need:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services
• Proven Databricks experience
• Solid knowledge of Terraform, Python, and CI/CD automation
• Background in data architecture, governance, and modelling

Essential skills:

• Exposure to Public sector environments
• Experience mentoring data teams
• Eligible for SC clearance
