Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant (Full-Time)
What You’ll Do
As a Junior BI Consultant, you will play a key role in helping businesses make data-driven decisions. You will work with experienced colleagues to develop dashboards, connect various data sources, and support clients in using BI tools effectively. Your tasks will include:
- Assisting in the creation of dashboards using Power BI or Tableau based on business needs.
- Learning and applying best practices for data visualisation and dashboard design.
- Supporting data integration by connecting different SaaS tools to BI platforms.
- Collaborating with senior team members and clients in an agile project environment.
- Helping to migrate reports between Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other tools.
- Teaching end users how to interact with dashboards and reports.
- Assisting in maintaining and improving existing dashboards.
- Learning how to automate data processes using Power Automate or Power Apps.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for curious, analytical, and motivated graduates who want to start their career in Business Intelligence. You should have:
- A degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Some experience (academic, internship, or personal projects) with Power BI or Tableau.
- Basic understanding of data visualisation principles and a passion for storytelling with data.
- Familiarity with SQL or other database tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and learning-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills in German and English (B2 level or higher).
Nice-to-Have Skills (but not required)
- Exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, or Excel.
- Knowledge of ETL Pipelines, Data Modelling, or Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of cloud platforms like Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift.
