EV Charging Infrastructure Project Manager (EVCS) – Berlin (m/f/d)

A fast-growing renewables joint venture in Berlin is hiring an EV Charging Solutions Project Manager to take ownership of a rapidly expanding EV charging EPC pipeline.

This role sits within an established EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) team delivering projects across EV charging, photovoltaics (PV / Photovoltaik) and heat pumps (Wärmepumpen).

EV charging is a growing business area with major expansion planned, including upcoming projects with large-scale rollouts (100-200+ charging points / Ladepunkte).

The Role

You’ll manage EV charging infrastructure projects end-to-end, from early planning through to commissioning, coordinating internal stakeholders and external subcontractors to deliver high-quality installations at pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver EV charging projects from planning to commissioning
• Manage subcontractors and turnkey delivery partners
• Coordinate technical scope and review documentation
• Lead project schedules, budgets, and risk management
• Support grid connection processes and stakeholder coordination
• Ensure compliance with German standards and regulations
• Maintain clear reporting and documentation for internal management

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3+ years’ experience in project management within electrical infrastructure / renewables
• EV charging ideal, but PV or heat pump project delivery is also relevant
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems
• Experience delivering EPC-style projects and managing external contractors
• German language skills minimum B1 (higher preferred) + strong English (company language is English)
• Hands-on, proactive mindset – someone who takes ownership and drives delivery
• Experience with DSOs / grid operators in Germany is a strong plus
• Comfortable running multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment

Salary

Typical range: €65,000k – €75,000 base depending on experience, with flexibility for a senior profile who can take ownership and help scale the EV function.
