Delivery Manager | GDS/Government Experience | Public Sector | Inside IR35

SR2 is supporting a consultancy delivering a large-scale digital transformation programme within the public sector which requires experienced Delivery Managers.
You will be joining a cross-functional team engaged in alpha delivery for a user-centred government service. The work will continue through beta, involving close collaboration across technical, design, and policy disciplines. The team includes engineers, product owners, user researchers, and service designers.

Experience Required:

• Proven track record of delivery management within complex, agile environments.
• Strong experience with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and service lifecycle phases (Discovery to Live).
• Background in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing dependencies across workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Experience working on government or public sector digital services is essential.
• Confident working with Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.

We expect start dates in April with the contract running for 6 months initially.
This contract is remote, with potential ad-hoc meetings in London.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 with day rates up to £550/day.
