Southwest.JS Meetup

Welcome to the inaugural Southwest.js meetup! We're super-excited to unveil this new meetup and to bring JavaScript enthusiasts together within the Southwest!

We've got two talks confirmed and one TBC. Of course, there will be refreshments (we're thinking the classic route... 🍕🍻☕)

This is a meetup for anyone who has an interest in JavaScript, whether you've just started learning, or you're a certified JS veteran - come along meet some people, have some debates on the talks and maybe even learn something new.

Talks confirmed so far;

Dominic Garbett - Enhance your React Native apps debugging using Flipper
Steve Officer - Generators for lazily creating sequences
Final talk - TBC

The event is being hosted at the Runway East building at Bristol Bridge (5-10 minutes walk from Temple Meads train station) and here is a quick rundown of what to expect on the night;

Feel free to arrive from 6:30pm
There will be refreshments available (food, soft drinks & alcoholic drinks), all free of charge thanks to our sponsors. It's a great opportunity to meet some new people and do a bit of networking!
Around 7pm, we'll do a quick welcome talk and then have the first & second talks (both with time allotted afterwards for questions & discussions)
There will then be a short break before our final talk of the evening
The evening will likely draw to a close around 9pm, but feel free to have some further chats with other attendees before you head home!
We're looking forward to seeing everyone and can't wait to get this show on the road!
