They’re seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Account Manager who thrives on nurturing long-term partnerships, driving customer success, and identifying opportunities for deeper engagement across a global client base. 🌍
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Account Manager, you’ll be the face of the organisation to your assigned portfolio of life-science clients, maintaining relationships, ensuring engagement, and helping partners derive maximum value from their membership and collaboration programmes.
You’ll balance relationship-building with commercial acumen, identifying renewal and expansion opportunities while ensuring exceptional member experience across key accounts. 📈
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key life-science and biotech client accounts across the UK and Europe
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, from operational leads to global heads of manufacturing and innovation
- Lead regular engagement reviews, ensuring value realisation and member satisfaction
- Identify upsell and renewal opportunities to expand partner investment and participation
- Work cross-functionally with content, marketing, and programme teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Track and analyse account performance metrics (renewal rates, engagement KPIs, partner feedback)
- Represent the organisation at industry events, workshops, and strategic forums
Requirements
- 4–7 years’ experience in account management, partnerships, or client success roles within SaaS or consultancy in the biopharmaceutical sector
- Proven record of growing key accounts or managing complex client portfolios (£500k annual revenue)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded with experience identifying and executing upsell/renewal opportunities
- Organised, data-driven, and comfortable presenting to C-suite or global stakeholders
- Experience in life sciences, biopharma, or scientific collaboration networks (preferred)
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment
