Business Analyst – KPI & Data Reporting
 
The Business Analyst will play a key role in enabling the development of new processes, frameworks, and data sets to support a KPI reporting programme. This work will allow the department to report more effectively on performance across key business areas.

• Experience specifying data requirements and ensuring outputs meet business needs.
• Familiarity with Power BI dashboards and reporting — able to validate outputs and translate stakeholder requirements into actionable insights.
• Understanding of service and product delivery models.
• Technical awareness of working alongside Data Engineers and Data Analysts, though deep technical skills are not required.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and represent their needs in the metrics programme.
• Work with the team to:
  • Obtain and review data against KPI metric requirements.
  • Support the creation of a data catalogue and data roadmap.
  • Validate the accuracy and relevance of dashboard outputs with stakeholders.
• Deliver individual projects to establish frameworks for data creation, e.g. technical debt tracking, training records, or innovation measurement.
• Facilitate process improvements and ensure newly created data sets align with business objectives.
