Business Analyst – Enterprise Data Catalogue – SC Cleared
We’re hiring a Security Cleared Business Analyst to support the rollout of an Enterprise Data Catalogue (EDC) within a major government data transformation programme. This role will focus on prioritising data assets, engaging users, and driving the adoption of the EDC across departments.
Due to the nature of the role, active SC clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support the rollout of the EDC, working closely with the Data Office and wider teams.
• Identify and prioritise key data assets for inclusion in the catalogue.
• Engage with users to support adoption and embed the EDC in business processes.
• Develop and refine use cases and support training and communications.
• Translate technical details into accessible content for stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• Active SC clearance
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-led programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Understanding of data governance and cataloguing tools.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with EDC tools (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Azure Purview).
• Worked alongside Data Architects or in data governance teams.

This is a long-term outside IR35 contract.
