ICS/OT Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

My client is looking to recruit multiple ICS/OT contractors, one being an ICS/OT engineer to service their clients needs across the South West of England.

My client wants to move quickly on this one and are prepared to book interviews for next week or the week after.

Design, configure, and maintain ICS/OT networks, including SCADA, DCS, PLC, and HMI systems.
Implement and ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST 800-82.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and system upgrades to enhance security and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT systems with enterprise IT.
Troubleshoot and resolve OT infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.

More details for the role:

Proven experience in ICS/OT environments, including SCADA/DCS systems and industrial protocols (Modbus, Profinet, OPC UA).
Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks (IEC 62443, NIS Directive, etc.).
Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and industrial network segmentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Pay rate: £500-£650p/day DOE.

Duration: 12-18 Months - ASAP start.
