Role: Contract Automation Architect

Location: Fully Remote

Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35)

Duration: Initial 3-month contract

We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect to join our team on a contract basis. This is a key role where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing test automation frameworks to ensure seamless API and UI testing across our platforms.

Must-Have Skills

1. Programming Languages:
• Java: Expert-level
• Python / JavaScript: Strong working knowledge
2. Testing Frameworks & Tools:
• Contract Testing: Experience with PACT testing frameworks.
• API Automation: Proficiency in tools like RestAssured, RestSharp, or Cypress
• UI Automation: Experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
3. Strategic Experience:
• Prior experience in documenting automation strategies and determining the right tool fitment for backend validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance robust API and UI automation frameworks using modern tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement automation strategies.
• Conduct contract testing for microservices using PACT.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend tools and frameworks for backend validation and testing.
