I'm working with an award-winning RegTech that is looking for an NLP Research Engineer to join a visionary team pioneering the future of compliance automation with ML.

This is a brand new role within an established ML/AI function that has been creating an impressive portfolio of NLP products. The team is made up of Product, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists and is now looking to add a Senior Research Engineer to help boost its NLP expertise.

Ultimately, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring the company remains innovative by harnessing cutting-edge advancements to push NLP boundaries. Fear not though, you won't have your head in papers the whole time, you'll have the opportunity to bring your engineering expertise to life as you design and build custom algorithms for groundbreaking results in ontology generation and labelling, semantic embedding, information retrieval, and LLMs.

This is a bit of a hybrid role that offers you the chance to get your hands dirty but also to have a strategic impact. Do you have ideas on how to improve processes and product features? Fancy getting involved in prototyping solutions and helping to define the strategy for the company's NLP capabilities? If so then this could be the role you've been looking for.

The company offers a very flexible working setup, essentially the minimum requirement is once a month in the London office.

The salary range is £70k - £90k.
