Senior Software Engineer (Node.js, GraphQL & Vue.js/React)

I'm working with a business that make a massive impact on ensuring the lives of young children in England are safe & secure. They're also experts in their field, with over 80% of their target market using their products!

They're not a business to rest on their laurels, and after acquiring a new product recently, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Node.js & GraphQL aficionado to join the team and help them migrate from a python monolith to a Node.js microservices architecture.

It's a tight-knit team of 6 developers, who are all mighty passionate about the difference that the products make and they're also very good at their day jobs! On the whole the business has 50+ developers across different product ranges, so although you'll be in a small & agile team, you'll still have a solid structure in place and the support of an experienced business unit.

What you'll need

• A solid background across the JavaScript/TypeScript tech stack
• Strong skills with Node.js
• Proficiency with GraphQL would be a big advantage, but the business is also happy to support someone developing this skill
• Frontend expertise with Vue.js or React
• Experience of working on microservices architecture, ideally a migration across from a monolith
• Any exposure to Python would be a bonus!
