SR2 Consulting is supporting an insurance organisation in appointing an experienced Portfolio Manager to establish and embed a prioritisation framework across their Operations change portfolio.
Working alongside an existing consultancy lead, this role will focus on creating a structured, repeatable process to manage and prioritise multiple change initiatives within a busy operational environment.
This is a hands-on, short-term engagement requiring someone who can quickly assess the landscape, introduce clarity, and implement effective portfolio governance.
The initial contract will run for 6 weeks with a likely extension and will suit immediately available candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a portfolio prioritisation process across Operations
- Establish governance and oversight across concurrent change initiatives
- Introduce structured portfolio management controls and reporting
- Support effective decision-making across competing initiatives
- Work collaboratively with an existing delivery lead to embed best practices
Required Experience
- Strong background in portfolio management within transformation environments
- Proven PMO and governance expertise
- Experience managing and prioritising operational change initiatives
- Insurance sector experience essential (assistance sector advantageous)
- Able to mobilise quickly and operate with pace
