This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving developer experience, and embedding security, reliability and automation into everything they deliver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, build and implement secure, reliable and scalable platform solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a trusted technical advisor, understanding client needs, business objectives and operational constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Lead or contribute to the architecture of robust systems, embedding network and cyber security best practice.<\/li>\n<li>Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility and recommend pragmatic technical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Build and improve internal developer platforms with a focus on reliability, adoption and user experience.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to support successful delivery against agreed timelines and budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with emerging platform, cloud and DevOps technologies, sharing knowledge across teams.<\/li>\n<li>Support technical discussions, presentations and client engagements, clearly articulating platform approaches and value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years&#8217; experience in a Platform, DevOps, Cloud or Site Reliability Engineering role.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP.<\/li>\n<li>Production experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or Bicep.<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing, operating and evolving cloud and on-premise solutions in production environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, security groups, NAT gateways, VPNs and hybrid connectivity.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in Unix\/Linux environments.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of CI\/CD pipelines, software engineering principles and deployment automation.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of observability, including logging, monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25 days&#8217; annual leave, plus bank holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Up to 5 days&#8217; annual training leave and a dedicated annual training budget.<\/li>\n<li>Up to 3 days&#8217; annual volunteering leave.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive private health insurance and 24\/7 Employee Assistance Programme.<\/li>\n<li>5% pension contribution, plus discretionary company awards and bonuses.<\/li>\n<li>Annual professional membership, additional IT budget for new joiners, referral scheme and regular social events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/am9zaHVhLndoaXRlLjIyMjkwLjEzNzc3QHNyMnJlYy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":678,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"City of London, London","_application":"joshua.white.22290.13777@sr2rec.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"61000","_job_salary_currency":"GBP","_job_salary_unit":"YEAR"},"job-categories":[55],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-13521","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
