Working as part of a small, collaborative team, the role focuses on ensuring that services are well-defined, fully accepted, and operationally ready for live environments.<\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Service Design activities within large-scale IT or digital transformation programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of a team of four, reporting into the Service Design &amp; Transition Lead and collaborating closely with another Service Designer.<\/li>\n<li>Author and maintain detailed Service Design Documents (SDDs), clearly articulating the service model, service management processes, and transition approach.<\/li>\n<li>Progress services through formal Service Design &amp; Introduction (SD&amp;I) or Service Acceptance governance processes.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with BAU service management teams and operational stakeholders to ensure all acceptance criteria are met prior to go-live.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with suppliers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure service readiness and alignment.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a structured and consistent approach to service design, transition, and acceptance activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Skills &amp; Experience Required<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in a public sector environment (policing experience desirable).<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience supporting Service Design activities within large-scale IT or digital transformation programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within formal Service Design &amp; Introduction (SD&amp;I) or Service Acceptance frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management principles, particularly across Service Design, Transition, and Service Acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience producing detailed Service Design Documentation (SDDs).<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across operational, technical, and supplier teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Contract Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Engagement Type:<\/strong> Outside IR35<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day Rate:<\/strong> \u00a3400 per day<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Hybrid working &#8211;
