We have 2 talks lined up for you. and, of course, lots of free drinks and pizza courtesy of our hosts for the night \ud83c\udf55<\/p>\n
Our meetups are open to anyone with an interest in Software Testing, whether you are just getting started, or a seasoned veteran. Many people come on their own and we make sure the evening is as friendly and welcoming as possible \ud83d\udc9a<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s how the evening tends to run,<\/p>\n
Feel free to turn up from 6pm. We’ll have a selection of pizza and drinks available, all free of charge thanks to Confused.com \ud83d\udc9b Grab a slice, mingle with our friendly crowd, and make some new connections. If you need an introduction, just grab our organiser Sam, or dive right in and say „hello!“<\/p>\n
Around 6:30 we will then move onto our talks with a break for more pizza in between.<\/p>\n
Talk 1: Adam Cullen. A practical guide to testing an Event Driven Microservice<\/strong><\/p>\n In this talk Adam will attempt to demystify testing metaphors and ambiguous meanings and demonstrate a concrete approach to applying automated testing to event-driven microservices.
\nAdam is a Distinguished Software Engineer at Confused.com and has a passion for designing and building reactive systems. With experience of writing software spanning two decades he’s worked for companies such as JustEat and ASOS.<\/p>\n
