<\/span>I’m working with a small boutique Consultancy who are looking to hire a highly technical QA SDET \/ Test Automation Engineer ideally from the fintech\/reg tech space. You’ll be joining a small passionate team that build software that sits at the heart of major organisations and helps them meet complex regulatory demands. The team are remote first so you can be based anywhere in the UK for this role.<\/p>\n

They’re looking for a highly technical QA Automation Engineer. You’ll be shaping quality from the very start, challenging requirements, spotting risks early, and ensuring what gets released is robust, secure, and built to last.<\/p>\n

You’ll design and maintain automated test frameworks across modern web applications, covering Angular front ends and .NET back ends and will actively review both internal team code and external client-side code to ensure adherence to best practices, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.<\/p>\n

There’s a strong focus on automation and API testing, so you should be comfortable working under the hood and reading code in C# or TypeScript when needed and have experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress and C# is important, along with experience of testing REST Api’s and familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This role also has a consultative edge. You’ll work closely with large enterprise clients, helping define sensible test strategies that fit their systems and business goals. You’ll review code, guide teams on quality best practice, and communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders with<\/p>\n

Ideally you’ll have experience testing complex platforms, particularly in regulated or high risk environments such as finance, compliance, identity, or similar enterprise domains along with strong automation skills in tools like Playwright, Cypress, Typescript and C#.<\/p>\n

You’ll be joining a small, high calibre team that values thoughtful engineering, respectful collaboration, and building things that genuinely matter.
